ISLAMABAD, Sept 27 (APP): Young artistes of National Performing Arts Group performed to pay tribute to legendary actress of Pakistani film industry Shamim Ara here Tuesday.
The tribute was arranged by Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in which young singers and artistes performed on her best songs.
The event was arranged to remember the life time achievements of the late actress, director and producer and highlight her services for the film industry of Pakistan.
Renowned actress Shamim Ara’s acting career spans from the late 1950s till early 1970s. She got four Nigar awards for best actress and director.
