ISLAMABAD, Oct 10 (APP): Zuljanah (Dhuljanah) is name of horse of Imam
Hussein a.s in Karbala. Zuljanah was so faithful horse of Hazrat
Hussain a.s.
The faithful animal, which was itself hungry, thirst and
wounded, spread its legs in such a way that the godly soul, one of the
most brilliant stars of the heaven of divinity, slid himself down.
Horses brought up as Zuljinah are respected and considered sacred. On
Ashura, chains are touched to the body of Zuljinah.
