Turkish delegation meets Minister for Defence Production

Islamabad Oct 04 (APP): Pakistan and Turkey enjoy exemplary affinity, unmatched warmth of relationship and amazing commonality of views on regional and international issues.
This was stated by Rana Tanveer Hussain Federal Minister for Defence Production in a meeting with the Deputy Chairman Omur Yildiz and Hakan Kurt, member of Turkish Prominent Association today in his office. The minister warmly welcomed the delegation. He said that brotherly relations between the two countries are growing with the passage of time and bilateral relations are being enhanced in all fields including defence production.

As regards to our cooperation in business sector, it is expanding gradually and expected to grow manifolds. Recent years have seen growing trends and greater eagerness to further foster our existing relations. Prominent Turkish business association is an independent Industrialist and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD), which comprises 11 thousand members representing 45 thousand companies and having representation in 65 countries. Omur Yildiz, Deputy Chairman invited Federal Minister for Defence Production to attend 16th MUSIAD International Fair will be held from 09 to 12 November 2016, CNR Expo Fair Centre, Istanbul. 15th MUSIAD International Fair was held in 2014 and attended by 51 Ministers from 39 countries and 7250 industrialists and business people from 123 countries. The delegation also invited Ministry of Science and Technology to participate in the 16th International Fair.

Rana Tanveer Hussain expressed his best wishes for success of the MUSIAD International Fair. The minister informed the delegation of his consideration for participation of MoDP delegation in selected events of MUSIAD International Fair. Rana Tanveer Hussain also invited the Turkish delegation and other members of MUSIAD to participate in IDEAS-2016. Minister highlighted that entire Pakistani Nation stands shoulder to shoulder with their Turkish brothers and whole heartedly support the democratic government of Turkey.
