ISLAMABAD, March 29 (APP): Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar met with Italian Deputy Minister of International Cooperation Benedetto Della Vedova here at the Punjab House on Wednesday
The Finance Minister while welcoming the Italian Deputy Minister highlighted the bilateral and friendly ties between the two countries
At the outset the Finance Minister said Pakistan fully committed to further expanding relations with Italy in different areas including economic cooperation, trade, auto sector and investment.
Benedetto Della Vedova said high level interaction between the two countries has been progressing well in the recent past. He expressed appreciation over growth in bilateral trade.
Benedetto Della Vedova said there was lot of untapped potential for furtherance of economic cooperation.
He also mentioned the areas of energy, infrastructure development and automotive sector in this regard.
He said Italian companies were already undertaking important projects in Pakistan.
