Dust-thunderstorm, rain likely at some parts

ISLAMABAD, April 21 (APP): Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) here Friday predicted that dust-thunderstorm/rain with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in some parts of KP, upper Punjab, Islamabad, FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, D G Khan divisions during next 24 hours.
Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country. Dust-thunderstorm/rain with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, D I Khan divisions), upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions), Islamabad, FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the Met Office said.
During last 24 hours, weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country.
However, dust-thunderstorm/rain occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions, upper FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Very hot weather prevailed in central/south Punjab, Sindh and south Balochistan.
The highest maximum temperature was recorded at Larkana 49.5°C, Sukkar, Moenjodaro, Dadu 49°C, Jacobabad, Sibbi, Shaheed Benazirabad, Padidan 48°C, Khanpur 47°C, Rohri, Noorpur Thal, Bahawalnagar and R Y Khan 46°C.
