Rejecting JIT is contempt of court, says Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD, April 21(APP): Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that rejecting JIT is contempt of court.
She was talking to media persons here after inaugurating an exhibition on “furniture and interior designs” on Friday.
Minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is the most popular leader in Pakistan and PML-N is the most popular political party.
Responding to a question, the Minister said that Pakistan has achieved development targets in energy sector more than they were achieved in last seventy years.
She also said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has a vision to turn Pakistan to a game changer in the region by developing it economically. CPEC is one of the best examples of Prime Minister’s vision.
Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has set a precedent by presenting himself and his three generations for accountability before the apex court.
Talking to media persons on Friday, she said that the Prime Minister underwent accountability for the welfare of the people of the country. She said the Supreme Court has rejected the pray of the petitioners.
She said the Prime Minister will also reply all the questions of Joint Investigation Team. The Minister of State said those negating JIT are doing contempt of court.
