Rs42900 million allocated in PSDP for Railways Division

ISLAMABAD, May 26 (APP): Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) has allocated Rs42900 million for Railways Division, said PSDP document for financial year 2017-18 released by Planning Division here on Friday.
These allocations include Rs33535.239 million for ongoing development schemes, while Rs9364.761 million has been allocated for six new schemes.
New scheme includes projects of Acquisition of Land for Gwadar Connectivity, feasibility study for Rail Link from Havelian to Pak China Border, feasibility study for up-gradation and extension of ML-III in connection with CPEC, procurement/ up-gradation of ML-1 including acquisition of land for new Dry port at Buldhair, Haripur district and up-gradation of VHF Communication System for Operational Staff.
