SIALKOT, July 19 (APP): – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has asked the political elements to must end their “political jugguleris” for the sake of the national economical and political stability, saying that they must consider the national development and prosperity not to mislead the masses through their negative styled politics of conflict in the country.

He stated this while addressing an important meeting of the Sialkot exporters held at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here today. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the newly established “Sheikh Riazud Din Business and Trade Center” adjacent to SCCI building at Sialkot here today. This business and trade center has been established at Sialkot by the government with total cost of Rs.480 million for boosting the trade, business, industrial and export activities in Sialkot region.

Nawaz Sharif said that the political elements, repeatedly rejected by the politically matured people who were demanding his (Nawaz Sharif) resignation.

He asked the nation to also do the accountability such political elements for their negative and conflicted politics and running their most condemnable agenda of weakening the Pakistan politically and economically.

He said that being the Prime Minister of Pakistan I have offered myself and my family for the accountability, but we still remain unable to understand that which kind of this accountability we have been facing, saying that no one knows that where was the corruption on which they (political elements) were doing their negative and conflicted politics in the country.

“Please stop and end your political jugguleris, stop misleading the nation and just think and focus on the national development and prosperity”, the PM added.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also vowed to continue the journey of national economical stability and to take the country moving ahead towards the goal of the national economical stability. He said that the government will continue its agenda of economic development and stability by taking the business community into confidence.

PM said Pakistan’s economic indicators were getting better day by day.

He claimed the government’s effective and positive economic policies were restoring confidence of national and foreign investors, adding these policies were bearing fruits and the national economy was moving ahead to achieve the goal of economic stability.

Nawaz Sharif said the “Dharna Politics” caused delay in the early implementation on the US $ 56 Billion grand project of CPEC. He said that they were also responsible for the crash of Pakistan’s Stock Exchange as well.

He added that there would be US$ 8 Billion foreign investment in Pakistan Railways (PR) for improvement and development of the Pakistan Railways in Pakistan.

“We have reduced the per unit price of  electricity from Rs.15 per unit to Rs.10 per unit and soon it would also be reduced to Rs.8 per unit and this direly needed step would also help the national business community to reduce their cost of production as well”, the PM revealed.

PM said that we have introduced the Pakistani history’s first ever extensive infrastructure of roads and motorways in the country.

“The government has also saved Rs.168 Billion by establishing three different power projects in the country, which was also a major achievement and saving as well”, he added.

The Sialkot exporters led by President SCCI Majid Raza Bhutta accorded a warm rosy welcome to PM Nawaz Sharif upon his arrival at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here today.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the newly established “Sheikh Riazud Din Business and Trade Center” adjacent to SCCI building at Sialkot here today. This business and trade center has been established at Sialkot by the government with total cost of Rs.480 million for boosting the trade, business, industrial and export activities in Sialkot region.

Government has spent Rs.480 million on this business and trade center, which has been named after Sialkot based business tycoon Riazud Din Sheikh for his meritorious services for the Sialkot industry.

Nawaz Sharif linked the economic prosperity with political stability and continuity of export development policies in the country. He underlined the need for development of human resources for continuous economic growth as well.

Nawaz Sharif termed Sialkot an engine for boosting the national economy. He highly hailed the unique export culture of the Sialkot. Investment in the area would be encouraged to further enhance exports, he added.

The PM said the government was fully aware of the problems of the business community and making all-out efforts to solve them amicably.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the government was committed to weeding out terrorism from the country as the whole nation was united, ready to sacrifice even their lives and stood shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces of the country.

He said the nation had given PML-N mandate to overcome power loadshedding, end terrorism and boost the economy. He said most of the burning problems of the country were being solved amicably, adding the government would not disappoint the nation in this regard.

While addressing the Sialkot exporters at SCCI, the PM said “progress has always been made in democratic eras. In dictatorships, the country was pushed backward”.

He said the international financial institutions were also recognizing Pakistan’s improved economic indicators.

Nawaz Sharif added that the government was successfully removing all the hurdles and foiling all the conspiracies of halting national economical and political stability.

PM also held a question-answer session with Sialkot businessmen and addressed their concerns.

During this important, the Sialkot exporters showed their full confidence over the effective and positive economical policies. They also assured their full confidence to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, saying that the establishment of peace has strengthened the national economy, besides, restoring the confidence of the national and foreign investors as well.

The Sialkot exporters said that the government was successfully and effectively overcoming the inherited energy crisis and reducing the load shedding of the electricity in the country.

Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Majid Raza Bhutta demanded the continuity of the business-friendly policies for the national economical stability, development and prosperity.

Federal Minister for Defence, Water and Power Khawaja Minister Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ch. Ehsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Trade Engineer Khurram Dastgir, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Tariq Pasha, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Majid Raza Bhutta, the MNAs, local MPAs and representatives of trade bodies were also present on this occasion.

Later, the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also addressed the meeting of the local parliamentarians and party workers held at the residence of Khawaja Muhammad Asif (Federal Minister for Defence, Water and Power) at Sialkot Cantt here today.

PM also visited the spot of the grand project of Sialkot-Lahore Motorway and he also reviewed the pace of the construction of this project, Government was spending Rs.53 Billion on this project.
