Tunessian and Kenyan diplomats meet President Dr Arif Alvi

Islamabad Dec 06 (APP): President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that Pakistan is desirous of forging close trade, commercial and investment ties with the African continent. The President was talking to Adel Elarbi, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia and Prof. Julius Kibet Bitok, High Commissioner of Kenya who separately called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Thursday.

The President said that Pakistan greatly values its fraternal relations with Tunisia which is rooted in common faith, culture and history. He Also mentioned that Pakistan and Kenya enjoy cordial and cooperative relations based on mutual respect and understanding. The President highlighted the need for developing strong political relations with both the countries and reiterated the need for the exchange of regular official and private sector business delegations to further boost economic relations with the both countries.
