Govt to strengthen institutions by implementing its election manifesto: Asad

ISLAMABAD, Jan 10 (APP): Finance Minister Asad Umar has said that the government is taking significant decisions for the economic development and there is no chance that the country may default.

Talking to prominent anchorpersons of TV channels in Islamabad on Thursday, he said that increase in the exports and remittances has decreased the trade deficit of the country.

Asad Umar said the government is in touch with the IMF and agreement with it will be signed in case of any attractive program.

He said the government is focusing on alternative means to achieve funds to strengthen the economy.

Asad Umar said concrete measures are also being taken to attract foreign investment in the country.
