Dollar sheds 54 paisa in interbank, closes at Rs 150.91

ISLAMABAD, May 24 (APP): The exchange rate of dollar dipped by 54 paisa in interbank and was traded at Rs 150.91 as compared to the last closing at Rs 151.45, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Friday.

According to Forex association of Pakistan the buying and selling rates of Dollar in open Market recorded at Rs 151 and Rs 151.50.

The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro is increased by 12 paisa after which it was traded at Rs 168.83 against Rs 168.71of last day.

However, the price of Japanese yen remained constant at Rs 1.37, whereas the decrease of 01 paisa was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 191.19 as compared to last closing at Rs 191.20.

Moreover, the exchange rates of UAE Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 14 paisa each and were traded at Rs 41.09 and Rs 40.24 against Rs 41.23 and Rs 40.38 respectively.
