Heirs of Data Darbar blast receive cheques from Punjab CM


LAHORE, May 24 (APP): Heirs of martyrs of Data Darbar blast met Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office, here on Friday.

Those who called on the CM included Nazia Bibi, widow of Rafaqat Ali of Railway Colony, Garhi Shahu; Surraya Begum, widow of Muhammad Nawaz of Mustafabad Sui Gas Chowk, Shahdara; Muhammad Aslam, father of Tahir Aslam of Pakpattan; and Mrs Noshay, mother of Mudasar, a resident of Lohari Gate Sooter Mandi, Lahore.

The chief minister presented cheques of financial assistance of one million rupees each to the heirs. He also extended sympathies to them and said that he was deeply saddened over the departure of their loved-ones.

PTI leaders Ali Asghar Munda, Gull Agha, Ghulam Mohyuddin Dewan and Zaman Naseeb were also present.
