ISLAMABAD, May 23 (APP): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday continued to witness bullish trend as KSE 100 index bounced by 944.20 points (2.73 percent) to close at 35,581.34points.
A total of 227,706,050 shares were traded, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 7.179 billion.
Out of 359 companies, share prices of 267 companies recorded increase while 75 companies registered decrease whereas 17 companies remained stable in today’s trading.
The three top traded companies were Bank of Punjab XD with a volume of 16,298,500 and price per share of Rs 12.27, Unity Foods Ltd with a volume of 15,251,000 and price per share of Rs 11.74 and K-Electric Limited with a volume of 15,176,000 and price per share of Rs 4.32.
The top advancer was Bata (Pak) with the increase of Rs 53.88 per share, closing at Rs 1308.88 while Mari Petroleum was runner up with the increase of Rs 51.70 per share, closing at Rs 1085.72.
The top decliners were Nestle Pakistan with the decrease of Rs 193.84 per share, closing at Rs 6845.01 and Mitchell’s Fruit with the decrease of Rs 13.90 per share closing at Rs 264.10.
