PSX sheds 6.44 point to close at 35,697 points

ISLAMABAD, MAY 27 (APP): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday witnessed bearish trend as KSE 100 index plunged by 6.44 points (0.02 percent) to close at 35,697.37points.

A total of 125,221,420 shares were traded, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 5.018 billion.

Out of 341 companies, share prices of 160 companies recorded increase while 165 companies registered decrease whereas 16 companies remained stable in today’s trading.

However, the three top traded companies were WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 10,045,500 and price per share of Rs .77, Maple Leaf with a volume of 9,070,500 and price per share of Rs 24.13 and Sui North Gas XD with a volume of 7,083,500 and price per share of Rs 72.18.

Whereas, the top advancer was Rafhan Maize XD with the increase of Rs 254.50 per share, closing at Rs 6504.50 while Wyeth Pak Ltd XD was runner up with the increase of Rs 32.60 per share, closing at Rs 796.85.

Moreover, among the top decliners were Unilever Foods with the decrease of Rs 297 per share, closing at Rs 5704 and Pak Tobacco XD with the decrease of Rs 90.95 per share closing at Rs 2502.42.
