ISLAMABAD, June 18 (APP): The exchange rate of dollar shed by 16 paisa in interbank and was traded at Rs 156.80 as compared to the last closing at Rs 156.96, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Tuesday.
However according to Forex association of Pakistan the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs 155.50 and Rs 156.50.
The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro decreased by 66 paisa after which it was traded at Rs 175.38 against Rs 176.04 of last day.
The price of Japanese yen remains constant at 1.44, whereas the decrease of 95 paisa was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 196.58 as compared to last closing at Rs 197.53.
Exchange rates of UAE Dirham dipped by 05 paisa whereas Saudi Raya decreased by 04 paisa after which they were traded at Rs 42.68 and Rs 41.81 against Rs 42.73 and Rs 41.85 respectively.
