ISLAMABAD, Jun 11 (APP): Keeping in view the ambitious Clean and Green Pakistan Programme, the government has allocated an ambitious budget of Rs 7579.200 million for the Ministry of Climate Change under the Public Sector Development Programme 2019-20.
The new schemes under PSDP 2019-20 include establishment of Climate Change Reporting Unite in the Ministry of Climate Change worth Rs 15m and the Billion Trees Tsunami Programme Phase-I up-scaling of Green Pakistan Programme worth Rs 7500 million.
The already under progress development programmers include Climate Resilient Urban Human Settlements Unit, establishment of Geomatic Centre for Climate Change, establishment of Pakistan WASH Strategic Planning and Coordination Cell and Sustainable Land Management Project.
