ISLAMABAD, June 13 (APP): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Thursday said that participation of Pakistan in 19th Summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will boost its ties with other regional countries.
He expressed his views while talking to media in Islamabad before leaving for Kyrgyzstan to attend the 19th Meeting of the Council of the Heads of State (CHS) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), being held in the capital Bishkek.
He further said that SCO would provide great opportunities to Pakistan keeping in view its geo-political, geo-strategic and geo-economic features and engagements.
“Economic development and regional security situation are major areas of interests on which member states will be focusing during the summit “he added.
