Kashmiris fighting for their right, not for terrorism: Barjees Tahir



ISLAMABAD, Aug 02 (APP): Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan, Ch Muhammed Barjees Tahir condemned the Indian brutality in occupied Kashmir saying that Kahmiris are fighting for their right of self determination, not for terrorism.
Speaking at a seminar on ‘Bleeding Kashmir’ organized by Muslim Institute here Tuesday, the Minister called the international community for playing its role to stop human rights in Kashmir and pressurize India for allowing international human rights organizations and media to enter freely in Held Kashmir. Pakistan is raising Kashmir issue on every forum and will keep on helping Kashmiris, he said, adding that the international media should raise voice of Kashmiris and expose Indian violence.
Other speakers including Senator Gen (R) Abdul Qayyum, former Speaker National Assembly, Faisal Karim Kundi, former Ambassador Masood Khan, Chairman Muslim Institute Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali and Hurriyat leaders observed that India has crossed all limits of violence under its illegal occupation for last seven decades. “Despite of hiding facts and worst kind of brutalities, India would not be able to suppress the freedom struggle of Kashmiris which has now entered into decisive phase following martyrdom of Burhan Wani”, they expressed.
