PM vows to work with new spirit to achieve all set targets



ISLAMABAD, Aug 04 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has expressed his government’s resolve to work with new spirit in the next two years for the welfare of people and development of the country.
Chairing the PML-N Parliamentary Party meeting here Thursday, the Prime Minister directed for speeding up the work during the remaining tenure. He said terrorism has been eliminated to a large extent and backbone of terrorists has been broken through operation Zarb-e-Azb.
The Prime Minister said as a result of Government’s prudent policies, Pakistan has emerged as one of the emerging economies which has also been acknowledged by the international financial institutions and rating agencies.
Nawaz Sharif said foreign exchange reserves are at record high and those who withdrew their investment in the past, are again coming to invest in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said that situation in Balochistan and Karachi has improved significantly as a result steps taken by the government. He said the federal government has launched Green Line bus project in Karachi on the pattern of metro bus projects executed in Islamabad, Lahore and Multan. He said Balochistan has been put on the path of development and the province will greatly benefit from the CPEC project.
He said Pakistan has completed the IMF program and expressed the confidence that the country will not need any new loan from the financial institution.
Nawaz Sharif said there are no charges of any corruption and kickbacks against the government. Rather it has saved one hundred billion rupees in the execution of power projects.
The Prime Minister said the government has launched several motorway and expressway projects which will benefit every area of the country.
