Rare footage of first female shaheed pilot of PAF released



ISLAMABAD, Aug 13 (APP): Pakistan Air Force has released rare footage of Flying Officer Marium Mukhtiar, the first female pilot to have died on a mission when a PAF trainer jet crashed near Kundian, Mianwali on November 24 previous year.
The rare footage, supported by voice over in Urdu, contains visuals of the Shaheed pilot during her training and flying.
A PAF FT-7PG flown by Squadron Leader Saqib Abbasi and co-pilot Flying Officer Marium Mukhtiar was on a routine operational training mission when it encountered an in-flight emergency during the final stages of the mission.
