ISLAMABAD, Sep 22 (APP): Pakistan on Thursday said that the nation and armed forces of Pakistan are ready to defend the motherland at all costs.
In his weekly media briefing, Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria said Pakistan is a peaceful country and peaceful neighborhood is the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
On continued horrific Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir, the spokesman called upon the UN Secretary General, UN Human Rights Commissioner and international community to take necessary measures to stop the killing in Occupied Kashmir. “Nearly 110 Kashmiris have been martyred, more than ten thousand injured and about 800 have lost their eye sight due to use of pellet guns by occupying forces” he said while highlighting recent wave of bloodshed by Indian forces in Held Kashmir.
Responding to miscellaneous media questions, he informed the media that there is concrete evidence of Indian sponsored terrorism and terrorist financing in Balochistan and Karachi. He further said that this was also verified by Kulbhushan Yadev’s confession, a captured RAW agent. He went on saying that the recent statement by Indian Premier was another proof of Indian involvement in terrorism to destabilize Pakistan. Moreover, to another question pertaining to Brahmdagh Bugti’s reported request seeking political asylum in India, Nafees said this only adds to the fact that India is deeply involved in terrorism in Balochistan.
The Spokesman said it has become a matter of habit to point accusing fingers towards Pakistan after every such incident in India. Reffering to Uri incident, Nafees repeated that Pakistan has nothing to gain from such incidents and in fact such Indian attempts were aimed to divert attention of the world community from its repression in Kashmir.
