ISLAMABAD October 16 ( APP): Info Minister was addressing participants of Ningxia Car Rally Friendly Tour to Pakistan and Arab States, in Islamabad.
Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will usher in a new era of development in the region.
He was addressing participants of the Ningxia Car Rally Friendly Tour to Pakistan and Arab States, in Islamabad on Sunday morning.
The Minister said CPEC is a network of railways, roads, energy projects, infrastructure, and cultural linkages, which will further enhance people to people contact between Pakistan and China.
He said Pakistan presents attractive tourist destinations and participants of the rally would certainly observe that feature of our country.
Pervaiz Rashid hoped that the rally will open up new chapter of warm relations between Pakistan and China. He said Pakistan and China have much in common like art and culture.
He said friendship between China and Pakistan is higher than the highest hills, deeper than the deepest oceans, and sweeter than the sweetest honey in the world.
Addressing the function, Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong said China Pakistan Economic Corridor has entered into full implementation with remarkable progress.
He said projects worth sixteen billion rupees of CPEC are under construction and added that thousands of jobs have been created for the local people.
Chinese Ambassador said that western route is definitely part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
