BRUSSELS (Belgium) Oct 05 (APP): Dr. Sajjad Karim, Member European Parliament has welcomed EUs continued support with Pakistan on Kashmir issue.
While commenting mutual resolve for “dialogue and constructive engagement” in a meeting between Sartaj Aziz Khan, PM Sharif’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs and Federica Mogherini, High Representative European Parliament, Dr. Sajjad Karim said EU-Pakistan meeting is a welcome development and he is pleased by continued engagement from both sides.
H said “It is longstanding position of the EU to support the reconciliation process between India and Pakistan over Kashmir, particularly through dialogue, and to call for the Kashmiri people themselves to be as involved as possible in this process”.
