Torture on Kashmiris exposed Indian brutal face: Speakers

ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP): Speakers at a seminar here Thursday said the current situation in occupied Kashmir has exposed the brutal face of India for the world as there is no match of India in terms of brutality and barbarism.
The seminar “Genesis of Kashmir Dispute and Humanitarian Crisis” was arranged by Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Young Parliamentarians Forum at Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS) to mark Black Day and condemn Indian terrorism in occupied Kashmir.
Audio and written messages of Hurriyat leaders including Syed Ali Gillani and Mir Waiz Umer Farooq were presented during the event which said that India and Israel are on same pattern in brutality and violation of human rights. There is no match of India in barbarism and torturing humans. Kashmir issue is not only of land but it is the issue of illegal occupation on humans, their political, ideological and basic rights, Ali Gillani said.
The situation of human rights has become worst in Kashmir as thousands of youngsters are missing, there is no cellular or social network, people are unaware about their loved ones and United Nations is unsuccessful in implementation on its own resolutions, says Mir Waiz Umer Farooq.
Mushal Malik, Wife of Hurriyat Leader, Yaseen Malik, highlighted the torture on women in Kashmir saying that women in Kashmir are targeted by the Indian troops like the men in Kashmir with worst kind of torture but they are in high spirit for freedom and getting their right of self determination. The International community should take notice of this violation of human rights in occupied Kashmir, she said.
