LAHORE, Feb 4 (APP): Ambassadors and Diplomats of United States, European Union, Australia, Tajikistan and India called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore on Saturday.
Speaking on this occasion the Chief Minister said Pakistan is safe and economically strong today as other countries are keen to invest in the country.
The Chief Minister said due to effective government policies terrorism, extremism and energy crisis have been controlled to a great extent.
He said Punjab government is taking effective measures to promote tourism in the province.
Shahbaz Sharif said Pakistan and India should work together for peace in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, the British High Commissioner hailed the government for taking care of cultural heritage and historical sites. APP/VNS, Lahore
