Aizaz Chaudhry addresses at Harvard Kennedy School

WASHINGTON DC (USA) April 28 (APP): Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said that following a complete consensus in 2014 to eradicate terrorism from the country, the Pakistan’s successes in security domain have a salutary effect on it’s economy, projected to become one of the top 20 economies of the world in the next decade.
Addressing a seminar on ‘A Conversation on US-Pakistan Relations’ on the South Asia Week at Harvard Kennedy School, Cambridge, Massachusetts here Friday, he underscored that Pakistan is working to deepen and broaden its historical ties with the United States. The recent high-level engagements between the two sides, he said were cordial and there was a desire on both sides to constructively engage for a broad-based relationship
He conveyed a message of hope and optimism during all his interactions at Massachusetts
Dr. Adil Najam, Dean of Pardee School at Boston University was Respondent in the conversation moderated by Ms. Cathryn Cluver Barry Hoffman, Honorary Consul General of Pakistan in Boston.
The Pakistani Ambassador also visited his alma mater the Fletcher School at Tufts University and interacted with Pakistan students there. He also exchanged views with Professor Richard Shultz, the Director of International Security Studies.
