ISLAMABAD, May 24 (APP): The National Assembly resumed its session here Wednesday afternoon with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in the Chair.
The House condemned terrorist attack in Manchester killing twenty-two people. The House also observed one minute silence to remember the incident.
“The Juvenile Justice System Bill, 2017″ was introduced in the House by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Shaikh Aftab Ahmed.
The House passed “The Companied Bill, 2017” with majority vote. Members from PPP, PTI, and ANP opposed the bill.
The House also rejected amendments in the Bill moved by Syed Naveed Qamar, Asad Umar, and Dr Sheerin Mazari.
The House paid rich tribute to the late MNA Abdul Rahim Mandokhel for his contribution and services in strengthening democracy in the country.
The House will now meet again on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m.
