DUSHANBE, July 05 (APP): Pakistan and Tajikistan have expressed their resolve to multiply efforts to increase their bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.
The understanding came during delegation-level talks between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe on Wednesday.
During the talks, both sides expressed their common desire to take bilateral relationship to new heights.
Both sides expressed satisfaction over pace of cooperation in economy, investment, trade, commerce, energy, defence production and industry.
They noted with satisfaction that work on the crucial project of CASA-1000 was progressing smoothly.
During talks the two sides also expressed satisfaction over bilateral defence and security cooperation. He said the first meeting of Pakistan-Tajikistan Joint Working Group on countering terrorism would meet this month in Dushanbe.
