ISLAMABAD, Nov 25 (APP): Islamabad Administration, in compliance of Court orders, is continuing its operation at Faizabad interchange to clear it of protesters.
Heavy contingents of Police, Frontier Constabulary and Rangers are taking part in the operation.
Heavy tear-gas shelling is being carried out while the fleeing protesters are being arrested.
The operation is being monitored through helicopters.
The administration had issued a final warning to the participants and organisers to call off their sit-in by mid-night last night or face a strict legal action.
According to reports, around one hundred fifteen people including police, FC personnel and civilians have been injured.
The injured have been shifted to various hospitals in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
