ISLAMABAD, Dec 06 (APP): Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the government is pursuing programs aimed at bringing improvement in human development indicators (HDI).
Addressing the SDPI conference in Islamabad today (Wednesday), she pointed out that over the last four years; the development budget has been enhanced to an unprecedented level. This year record one trillion rupees has been allocated for the development.
She was confident that the enhanced development budget will play a vital role in improving human indicators as envisaged in the sustainable development goals.
On this occasion, she also distributed shields and certificates among prominent journalists working in fields of decevelopment and peace.
