SIALKOT, Mar 31 (APP): – Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the Malala Yousafzai was the proud daughter of Pakistan who has earned good name and upheld the prestige of Pakistan around the globe by continuing her struggle for the promotion of education of the girls as well. Now, the whole World salutes her (Malala) for her courage, dedication, great struggle for girls’ education, dedication and determination. He said that Malala has become a symbol of peace and respect of humanity in the World as well.
He said that the young generation should seek inspiration from Pakistan’s daughter Malala, as she has become the most popular personality of Pakistan, saying that the whole of the Pakistani nation has warmly welcomed Malala upon her arrival at Pakistan after a spam of five years as she was the pride for Pakistan globally.
He stated this while addressing the participants of the annual prize distribution ceremony of a private college held here today. Provincial Minister for Local Bodies Punjab Mansha Ullah Butt, MPA Ch. Muhammad Ikram, Mayor of Sialkot Ch. Tauheed Akhtar, Deputy Mayor Ch. Bashir Ahmed, senior educationists and students’ parents also attended this function.
Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif stressed the students to learn for the promotion of national interests not to go ahead for their personal gains.
Khawaja Muhammad Asif added that government was striving to curb the menace of the darkness of the ignorance through spreading the light of the knowledge and education as per the vision of the government to promote quality education and knowledge.
Foreign Minister stressed the need of promotion of knowledge-based education and personality building of the students for making it a developed and forward-looking Pakistan as well. He said that Pakistan could never be developed without the promotion of quality education and access of everyone to the quality education as well.
He revealed that the students were the future of the country and the government was providing them maximum facilities, enabling them to serve the nation and the country in a better way in future.
He added that the promotion of quality education was the top priority of the government.
Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said there is a significant role of women in our country’s development and we should proud of them.
Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Khawaja Muhammad Asif stressed upon the need of provision of the best quality of knowledge to the generations, saying that the quality education and knowledge had ever played a pivotal role in character and personality building of the youth, besides, securing the educational future of the generations through the promotion of education.
Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of education and knowledge, saying that it was the prime obligation of everyone to secure the educational future of the students (both boys and girls) by opening the doors of quality education to them and providing them the maximum opportunities of getting knowledge as well.
He said that the government’s efforts were bearing fruits to ensure quality education and knowledge to everyone, paving the way to build up dignified and educated nations besides securing their educational future.
He said that our students were the reality and the true picture of the nation, they should be encouraged by everyone at every level, besides, ensuring their easy access to the advanced quality education and knowledge.
