Masjid Al Haraam: King Abdul Aziz Gate be opened during Ramadan, Sheikh Al Sudais

Makkah Al Mukarrama (KSA) April 29 (APP): The Director General, Presidency for Affairs of the two Holy Mosques, Shaykh Abdur-Rahmaan Al-Sudays on Monday has instructed to keep open the historic King Abdul-Aziz Gate of Al-Masjid Al-Haraam during month of Ramadan.

He further asked for swift completion of construction and maintenance work in the mosque, says a press release issued by the directorate.

He stressed for early completion of all ongoing work with the highest of standards in order to facilitate comprehensive preparations for the massive pilgrims and worshippers.

Al Sudais passed these instruction during his comprehensive visit in which he also examined the preparations, maintenance, and construction works currently underway.

The release further said all the vigilance and inspections were happening for the materialisation of ultimate accomplishment of Vision 2030, a vision of giving and benevolence.

It is noteworthy that King Abdul-Aziz Gate is one of the main entrances to al-Masjid al-Haraam and is used by large numbers of visitors entering to the mosque. Moreover the renovated gate will become 48 meter of height with extra width to offer entrance of maximum number visitors.
