Dollar sheds 50 paisa in interbank, closed at Rs 151.45

ISLAMABAD, May 23 (APP): The exchange rate of dollar dropped by 50 paisa in interbank and was traded at Rs 151.45 as compared to the last closing at Rs 151.95, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Thursday.

However according to Forex association of Pakistan the buying and selling rates of Dollar in open Market recorded at Rs 151.80 and Rs 152.50.

The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro decreased by 89 paisa  after which it was traded at Rs 168.71against  Rs 169.60 of last day.

The price of Japanese yen remained constant at Rs 1.37, whereas the decrease of Rs 1.26 was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 191.20 as compared to last closing at Rs 192.46.

Exchange rates of UAE Dirham and Saudi Rayal decreased by 13 paisa each and were traded at Rs 41.23 and Rs 40.38 against Rs 41.36 and Rs 40.51 respectively.
