Dollar soars by Rs 2.27 in interbank, closed at Rs 151.92

ISLAMABAD, MAY 21 (APP): The exchange rate of Dollar in interbank soared by Rs 2.27 and was traded at Rs 151.92 as compared to the last closing at Rs 149.65, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Tuesday.

However according to Forex association of Pakistan the buying and selling rates of Dollar in open Market is recorded at Rs 152 and Rs 153.50.

The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro is increased by Rs 2.47 after which it was traded at Rs 169.39 against Rs 166.92 of last day.

The price of Japanese yen increased by 02 paisa and was traded at Rs 1.38 against Rs 1.36, whereas the increase of Rs 2.11 was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 192.82 as compared to last closing at Rs 190.71.

Moreover, the Exchange rates of UAE Dirham jumped by 62 paisa whereas Saudi Rayal gained 60 paisa and were traded at Rs 41.36 and Rs 40.50 against Rs 40.74 and Rs 39.90 respectively.
