CPEC remains the highest priority of the government: PM Imran Khan

BISHKEK, (KYRGYZSTAN), June 14 (APP):  Prime Minister Imran Khan met President of China, Xi Jinping here on Friday. In a cordial meeting   on the sidelines of SCO Council of Heads of States, the entire gamut of bilateral relations, including CPEC, was discussed.

Prime Minister stated that CPEC remains the highest priority of the government.

However, President Xi Jinping also acknowledged Pakistan’s effort of countering terrorism efforts and it’s and to promote regional stability.

Both sides agreed to enhance coordination to build Pakistan China Community of Shared Destiny in the New Era. Moreover, the regional situation was also discussed by the leaders.

The Iron brothers China and Pakistan reaffirmed their “All Weather strategic cooperative partnership “.
