PSX sheds 487 point to close at 34,681 points

ISLAMABAD, June 18 (APP): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday continued to witness bearish trend as KSE 100 index plunged by 487.10 points (-1.39 percent) to close at 34,681.72points.

A total of 104,130,390 shares were traded, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 4.035 billion.

Out of 319 companies, share prices of 61 companies recorded increase while 239 companies registered decrease whereas 19 companies remained stable in today’s trading.

The three top traded companies were Maple Leaf with a volume of 14,727,500 and price per share of Rs 25.29, TRG Pakistan Ltd with a volume of 7,331,000 and price per share of Rs 16.93 and Pak International Bulk with a volume of 5,564,000 and price per share of Rs 8.59.

The top advancer was Pak Tobacco XD with the increase of Rs 23.71 per share, closing at Rs 2592.71 while Sunrays Textile was runner up with the increase of Rs 9.18 per share, closing at Rs 196.18.

The top decliners were Unilever Foods with the decrease of Rs 286.25 per share, closing at Rs 5438.75 and Nestle Pakistan with the decrease of Rs 237.70 per share closing at Rs 6752.29.
