Rs 1340m allocated for the Ministry of Law Justice in PSDP

ISLAMABAD, Jun 11 (APP): For Law and Justice Division, an amount of Rs 1340m has been allocated in the federal budget 2019-20 for completion of the already under process projects in addition to four new projects. The entire budget of the Law and Justice division is generated within the national resources and no foreign fund is to be used for the purpose.

The ongoing schemes of the Law and justice division include Automation of Federal Courts located federal courts complex Islamabad, construction of additional blocks in judicial and administration complex Islamabad, Construction of camp office for federal shariat court, construction of federal courts complex in Lahore, Construction of federal courts complex at Peshawar, construction of Islamabad high court, construction of Supreme Court registry Karachi, Public Awareness and Advocacy about dispute Resolution Mechanism of FTO, strengthening of Institutional capacity of Ministry of Law and Justice and strengthening of Ombudsman system of Administrative Justice and Up-gradation / expansion of online complaint Management Information System (CMIS).

However, construction of Sessions Complex in Islamabad is included in the four new projects that are proposed for approval in the budget. An amount of Rs 400 million is proposed for the new projects in the budget.
