Rs 16000 million allocated for Railway Division in PSDP

ISLAMABAD, June 11 (APP): The government has budgeted Rs16000 million for fiscal year 2019-20 in Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for ongoing and new schemes.

According to the PSDP document issued here on Tuesday, Rs 11368.415 million were allocated for 23 ongoing schemes while Rs 4631.585 allocated for five new schemes.

The new projects include bankable feasibility study for new railway link connecting SECMC Thar Coal Block II with the national railway network, consultancy services regarding revision of bridge rules and codes of practice prescribe for design of bridges on Pakistan Railways, feasibility study of restoration as well as up gradation of Jacobabad-Silra Shahdad Kot Larkana Section and up gradation of Pakistan Railways existing Main Line-1 along with establishment of Dry port near Havelian.
