ISLAMABAD (APP) A meeting of the Senate Standing committee on Communications held under the Chairman Standing Committee Senator Hidayat Ullah on Thursday at Federal Lodges Islamabad.
During the meeting different issues discussed as per agenda of the meeting.
Ministry of Communications presented the details to Committee about Dargai Shabozai to Taunsa road with detail about the funds of PSDP allocation number site of the scheme contactor name and information about tender acceptance amount at District Musakhel,Balochistan.
National highway authority briefed the committee regarding procedure of E-Tendering and also briefed regarding maintenance and emergency work done by NHA with project name area and province along with expenditure incurred during last five years.
Motorway Police briefed the committee about total number of accidents and detail toll on Peshawar-Islamabad motorway due to crossing of animals at different points owing to damage fence.
Senators, Federal Secretary, senior officer officers of the Ministry Chairman NHA Senior
Officers of NHA and Inspector General of Motorway Police also attended the meeting.
