ISLAMABAD, Sep 20 (APP): The exchange rate of dollar shed 16 paisa in interbank and was traded at Rs 156.07 as compared with the last closing at Rs 156.23, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Friday.
However according to Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs 155.80 and Rs 156.30.
The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro decreased by 36 paisa and was traded at Rs 172.47 as compared with last closing at Rs 172.83.
The exchange rate of Japanese yen remained stable and was traded at Rs 1.44, whereas the increase of 63 paisa was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 195.79 as compared with last closing at Rs 195.16.
Exchange rate of UAE Dirham and Saudi Rayal dropped by 04 paisa each after which they were traded at Rs 42.49 and Rs 41.61 against Rs 42.53 and Rs 41.65 respectively.
