ISLAMABAD, Nov 21 (APP): Advisor to Prime Minister on Climate change Malik Amin Aslam Thursday termed the launch of Electric Vehicles technology as a step towards environment friendly and fast communication saying that it will not only help to promote environment friendly transport facility but will also promote local industry.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Electric Vehicles and ITs technology in Pakistan the advisor further said that Cabinet has approved first Electric Vehicles policy and Government is given incentives to the investors to promote EV technology in the country.
He added that most of the developed countries have adopted EV transportation and it is the high time for us to introduce fast and environment friendly communication methods in the country.
The minister was of the view that promotion of EV technology will not only provide cheep, environment friendly and fast transportation facility but will also help local industry to grow.
