ISLAMABAD, Dec 16 (APP): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Monday noted bearish trend as KSE 100 index closed at 41,644.88 points as compared to 40,916.59 points on the last working day with the positive change of 728.29 points (1.78 %).
A total of 357,788,940 shares were traded compared to the trade 270,713,690 shares during the previous day, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 13.991 billion compared to Rs 11.673 billion during last trading day.
Total 391 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 276 recorded gain and 96 sustained losses whereas the share price of 19 companies remained unchanged.
The three top traded companies were, Hascol Petrol(R) with a volume of 53,275,000 shares and price per share of Rs 13.66, Unity Foods Ltd with a volume of 31,387,500 and price per share of Rs 15.81 and Sui South Gas with a volume of 16,065,000 and price per share of Rs 24.36.
Nestle Pakistan recorded the maximum increase of Rs 380 per share, closing at Rs 8480 while Rafhan Maize was runner up with the increase of Rs 100 per share, closing at Rs 7300.
Sapphire Textiles recorded maximum decrease of Rs 49.99 per share, closing at Rs 1010 whereas Sapphire Fiber decreases Rs 46.84 per share closing at Rs 890.15.
