ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (APP): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Monday noted bearish trend as KSE 100 index closed at 40,008.29 points as compared to 40,832.99 points on the last working day with the negative change of 824.70points (2.02 %).
A total of 179,095,171 shares were traded compared to the trade 180,706,350 shares during the previous day, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 6.956 billion as compared to Rs 8.531 billion during last trading day.
Total 342 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 41 recorded gain and 289 sustained losses whereas the share price of 12 companies remained unchanged.
The three top traded companies were, WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 13,641,000 shares and price per share of Rs 1.21, Hascol Petrol(R) with a volume of 12,688,500 and price per share of Rs 9.54 and Unity Foods Ltd with a volume of 11,940,000 and price per share of Rs 13.97.
