Islamabad, Feb 28 (APP): Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir, Syed Fakhar Imam here Friday attended a session on “The Power of Post Legislative Scrutiny in Effective Governance” highlighting the elements of legislative history in Pakistan.
Speaking on the topic “Post Legislative Scrutiny for Impact Assessment”, Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir presented a comparative view of the Parliamentary systems in the world.
He said in Pakistani Parliament we have not examining two elements in legislative history so far. One is Pre-legislative and other Post-legislative under which many rules are supposed to flow smoothly.
The session was arranged by Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS).
