PSX gains 667.82 points to close at 33,499 points

ISLAMABAD, April 20 (APP): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Monday witnessed bullish trend as KSE 100 index closed at 33,499.65 points as compared to 32,831.83 points on the last working day with the positive change of 667.82 points (2.03%).

During the day, a total of 399,906,915 shares were traded compared to the trade 302,398,580  shares during the previous day, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs17.368 billion as compared to Rs8.601 billion during last trading day.

As many as 375 companies transacted shares in the Stock Market, out of which 194 recorded gain and 154 sustained losses whereas the share price of 27 companies remained unchanged.

The three top traded companies were Maple Leaf with a volume of 39,641,000 shares and price per share of Rs 25.17, Fauji Cement with a volume of 35,515,500 shares and price per share of Rs 16.93 and Hascol Petrol with a volume of 23,006,000 shares and price per share of Rs 15.30.

Rafhan Maize recorded maximum increase of Rs 165 per share, closing at Rs 6870 while Nestle Pakistan was runner up with the increase of Rs79.88 per share, closing at Rs5699.88.

Philip Morris Pak recorded maximum decrease of Rs157.39 per share, closing at Rs1941.51 whereas prices of Pak Tobacco decreased by Rs 59.19 per share closing at Rs1609.81.
