BALAKOT, Aug 14(APP): The Kaghan Development Authority celebrated 75th Independence Day of Pakistan with full zeal and jubilations. The day was marked by Plantation, Indepnedence Day Rafting Rally in the river Kunhar (this is first time in the history of Pakistan that Independence Day was being celebrated through River Rafting) , Independence Day Motor Bike Rally from start of Naran Bazar to Soch and back, followed by speeches by KDA officials, local notables and tourists to highlight the importance of 14th Aug, opportunities and environment of the valley vis-a-vis tourism and efforts/planning of KDA to develop the valley and Ziplining.
