Islamabad, 11 March,(APP):Deputy Chairman Senate, Saleem Mandviwalla along with women Parliamentarians and employees of the Parliament celebrated Women’s Day at Parliament House on Wednesday.
While emphasizing the importance of the Day, Deputy Chairman Senate commemorated women employees of the Parliament and said that this day gives him the opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate their contribution towards the work of the Legislature. He assured all women employees of his support. He said that role of women in politics is important for women emancipation in all walks of life.This, he said was a great way to celebrate Women’s Day.
