The corrupt rulers damaged the national economy badly and ruined the national institutions for personal gains.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Firdous said whenever the accountability process was launched in the country, all the corrupt politicians and former rulers got united and start crying in the name of protecting democracy.<\/p>\n<p>She said every corrupt element would have to face ruthless accountability by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).<\/p>\n<p>The special assistant said innocent children were dying of hunger in Thar, but the ruling party in Sindh was busy in criticising the PTI government.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the locals accorded a warm welcome to Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan upon her arrival here for the first time after taking charge of the current office.<\/p>\n<p>She was brought to Sialkot in a big procession of vehicles from Sambrial. People standing along road showered rose petals on her vehicle.
