July 31 (APP): Member Parliament House of Lord, Lord Purvis of Tweed said<\/p>\n<p>That cooperation between the states in its real sense can be achieved when Parliaments build consensus of opinion on matters of interests as the decisions resulting from the dialogue and discussion of the Parliaments will have long lasting impact on international political dynamics.<\/p>\n<p>While talking to APP exclusively, on the eve of 5th CPA Asia region Conference which is underway in Islamabad, he said that this conference is an apt opportunity to discuss and share experiences for enhancing cooperation between Commonwealth states to achieve common goals of development.<\/p>\n<p>Expressing his thoughts on the state of South Asia he mentioned that most of South Asian Nations are mired with geopolitical constraints, as the story of South Asia has seldom been viewed through the glass of the rising democratic consciousness of its citizens.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While indicating the potentials of South Asia he said that South Asia\u2019s rise as the global economic, technological and cultural hub, it has become necessary to promptly address and neutralize the common roadblocks jeopardizing the wellbeing, prosperity and future of millions.<\/p>\n<p>He said that this tradition of continuing collaborative synergy between the National Legislature of Pakistan and the CPA Asia region branches for deepening democratic linkages, promoting people to people contact and boosting regional cooperation must be continued<\/p>\n<p>He expressed deep gratitude to the President of Pakistan for sharing his vision for women empowerment, engagements of youth and social development.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>VNS,
