{"id":121676,"date":"2019-08-06T21:29:54","date_gmt":"2019-08-06T16:29:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/?p=121676"},"modified":"2021-03-22T15:41:18","modified_gmt":"2021-03-22T10:41:18","slug":"cdwp-referred-three-mega-projects-related-of-energy-sectors-to-ecnec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/2019\/08\/cdwp-referred-three-mega-projects-related-of-energy-sectors-to-ecnec\/","title":{"rendered":"CDWP referred three mega projects related of Energy\u00a0sectors to ECNEC\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 696px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-121676-1\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Replace-CDWP-meeting-06-08-2019-VO-by-Saeeda.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Replace-CDWP-meeting-06-08-2019-VO-by-Saeeda.mp4\">https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Replace-CDWP-meeting-06-08-2019-VO-by-Saeeda.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>ISLAMABAD: August 06 (APP): The meeting of Central Development Working Party (CDWP)\u00a0approved 12 projects worth Rs.14.5 billion and recommended 03 projects worth Rs.18 billion to ECNEC for consideration.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting which met here on Tuesday at Planning Commission with Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Dr. Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan in chair was also attended by\u00a0Secretary Planning Zafar Hasan, senior officials from federal and provincial governments.<\/p>\n<p>Projects related to Energy, Information Technology, Water Resources, Health, Information Technology, Science &amp; Technology, Physical Planning &amp; Housing, Transport &amp; Communications, Nutrition and Food &amp; Agriculture were presented in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Ministry of Energy (Power Division) presented three projects including \u2018220 kV Swabi Substation\u2019 worth Rs. 5826.09 million was recommended to ECNEC for consideration. The purpose of this project is construction of Swabi Grid Station at 220 KV level along with associated transmission lines to meet the additional load demand and voltage profile improvement of Swabi region which falls under CPEC\u00a0industrial zone.<\/p>\n<p>The second project related to Energy sector was presented by Ministry of Energy (Power Division) titled \u201c220 kV Nawb Shah Substation \u201cworth RS.5769.87 million which was also recommended to ECNEC.<\/p>\n<p>Third project related to Energy sector \u201cProcurement of 220 kV Mobile Grid Station along with Emergency Recovery System and 500 KV Shunt Reactors for Emergency Services\u201d worth Rs. 6246.60 million which was referred to ECNEC for further approval.<\/p>\n<p>The project related to Water Resources \u2018Rehabilitation and Modernization of Islam Barrage\u2019 worth Rs. 2993.18 million was approved in CDWP.<\/p>\n<p>Two projects related to Health were presented in the meeting which includes \u2018Provision of X-Ray &amp; Ultrasound Machines in Secondary Care Hospital of AJ&amp;K\u2019 worth Rs. 20 million was presented which aims to envisage procurement of X-Ray machines and Ultrasound machines to provide better diagnostic services and strengthen quality health care service in AJ&amp;K. CDWP approved this project .<\/p>\n<p>The second project of Health was presented by Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations &amp; Coordination \u201cUp-gradation of supply and filling line to improve the vaccine supply and filling station to achieve GMP standards at NiH Islamabad \u201cworth Rs.102.857 million. The project was approved by CDWP.<\/p>\n<p>Three projects related to Information Technology were also presented in the meeting which includes \u201cExpansion of Broadband Services through MSAN Technology and Up-gradation of IP core &amp; Access Network in AJ&amp;K and Gilgit Baltistan\u201d of worth Rs. 1540 million was given approval by CDWP. The second project \u201cExpansion of Cellular Services in AJ&amp;K and GB worth Rs. 2790 million was also approved. Third project \u201cNational Freelance Training Program\u201d worth Rs. 367.169 million was also approved in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Two projects related to Science &amp; Technology were presented in CDWP. The first project \u201cEstablishment of Center for Advanced technologies in Biomedical Materials\u201d worth Rs.849.329 million was accorded approval by CDWP. Second project \u201cEstablishment of facilities for industrial production of Nano materials in Latif Ebrahim Jamal Nanotechnology Center, H.E.J Research Institute of Chemistry University of Karachi\u201d worth Rs. 718.483 million was approved in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Ministry of Planning, Development &amp; Reform presented a project \u201cEstablishment of Pakistan Urban Planning and Policy Centre\u201d worth Rs.141.88 million which was accorded approval by CDWP.<\/p>\n<p>One project related to Transport &amp; Communications titled \u201cUp-gradation &amp; Rehabilitation of Existing 100 KMs Hub-Dureji Road includes 1000 RFT Bridge at Bund Murad Baluchistan\u201d worth Rs.407.171 million was approved in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>A project from Nutrition sector \u201cKhyber Pakhtunkhwa stunting Prevention and Rehabilitation Nutrition Gain project\u201d worth Rs. 2217.851 million was approved in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Another\u00a0project related to\u00a0Food &amp; Agriculture sector titled \u201cPromotion of Olive Cultivation on Commercial Scale in Pakistan\u201d worth Rs. 2320.27 million was also approved in CDWP.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>APP\/ Saeeda\/HB<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: August 06 (APP): The meeting of Central Development Working Party (CDWP)\u00a0approved 12 projects worth Rs.14.5 billion and recommended 03 projects worth Rs.18 billion to ECNEC for consideration.
